Health Checkup Kiosk at Vijayawada Railway Station One More Facility for Passengers

For the first time on Vijayawada Division Health Checkup Kiosk has been setup for the passengers at Vijayawada Railway station.

The Health Checkup kiosk is set up by Team Lead Corporates, Hyderabad and the kiosk unit ‘PULSE ACTIVE STATIONS’ are IOT-based Smart kiosks manufactured in India, which generates report of vital indicators of the body on minimal charge basis. The kiosk helps a person to understand his overall general health on 21 parameters. The person gets her/his height, weight, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), etc. within a time span of just 15 minutes. It also gives recommendations on the dietary plan and exercises to follow. Passengers can avail this service by just paying a nominal amount of Rs.50.

The passengers can use this service and know about their basic statistics while waiting at the Station. The kiosk is located in front of the Booking Office at the East Entrance on Platform No.1. At present the kiosk is manned by two persons and is functional for 12 hours in a day.
