Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada inspects Branch Line Doubling Works and Narasapur Railway Station
Shri P Srinivas, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division conducted extensive inspection of Branch Line Doubling Works and Narasapur Railway Station on 19th December, 2019
Shri P Srinivas inspected Narasapur Railway station, Carriage and Wagon (C&W) Depot, IOH (Intermediate Overhauling) Shed, new Pit Line works and TTEs Rest house at Narasapur Railway Station. Shri P Srinivas, DRM, Vijayawada participated in plantation drive at C&W depot and advised the staff to improve the cleanliness at the station and expedite passenger amenities works in progress at the station. DRM interacted with local media and appraised them about the status of doubling works & electrification works undertaken by RVNL and stated that frequency of train operations would be increased and journey time between Vijayawada and Narasapur will be reduced once the second line is commissioned.
Later, Shri P Srinivas, conducted rear window inspection of Narsapur - Vijayawada section and instructed the RVNL officials to complete the branch line doubling works in scheduled time frame without any lapses.
Shri K Srinivas, Sr. DME; Shri N Suryaprakash, DEN/East; Shri Sumit Mittal, DSTE/SW; Shri. B Siva Prasad, ADEN/Bhimavaram and other Railway officials accompanied DRM for the inspection.
