An escalator on platform 1 opened for public at Vijayawada Railway Station

A new escalator on platform 1 opened for public at Vijayawada Railway Station today 

To ease Sankranti festival rush and to help Rail passengers, an escalator services made open for public on platform 1 on Vijayawada Railway Station. 

The escalator has been commissioned at a cost of Rs. 51.5 lakh. Two more escalators are being installed at new FOB to be made operational by March 2020. 

The escalator has been commissioned as per the target date.
