Closure of All Reservation & Unreserved Counters, Parcel Offices till 24.00 hrs of 31st March, 2020 in the wake of COVID-19

In continuation of the measures taken in the wake of COVID-19, it has been decided that all Passenger Train services on Indian Railways including Premium trains, Mail/Express trains, Passenger trains, Suburban Trains, Kolkata Metro Rail, Konkan Railway etc are cancelled till the 24.00 hrs of 31.03.2020. 

Accordingly, in view of the need to contain spread of covid-19, South central Railway has decided to close till 31st March, 2020
All Unreserved ticket counters (UTS counters)

All Reservation Counters (PRS Counters)
Parcel/Luggage  Offices

UTS on mobile APP bookings will be disabled till 31st March, 2020.

Since PRS counters are closed till 31st March, 2020, Passengers need not be panic and utilise the liberalised refund rules and avoid coming to the counters. Refund rules are liberalised and full refund for all cancelled trains can be taken till 21.06.2020 for the PRS tickets purchased through counters.

Passengers may utilise Online booking facility of e-tickets for advance reservation tickets through IRCTC website.

In view of the ongoing Pandemic- COVID 19, the above extensive measures are being taken and Passengers are requested to please cooperate and avoid coming to railway stations.
