Krishna Express flagged off with All Women Crew

South Central Railway- Vijayawada division is conducting International Women's Day Campaign from 01st March to 10th March, 2020 with the theme of "Each for Equal" to signify that collectively each one of us can help create a gender equal world. As a part of Women's day Campaign Vijayawada Division flagged off first ever All Women Crew Train  (17406 Krishna Express, Ex. Adilabad- Tirupati) on 6th March, 2020 from Vijayawada to Tirupati to commemorate International Women's Day on 8th March, 2020.

The entire crew of the train right from Loco pilot, Guard, Sleeper TTEs, Squad TTEs & RPF was women in addition to On duty Points man & SM.  Shri P. Srinivas, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada congratulated the entire women crew of the train for accomplishing such a rare feat and also said that it is a proud moment for Vijayawada Division. DRM said that there are no limitations to the power of women & their capabilities and they are always on par with men in efficiency by transcending all the barriers. 

This All Women Crew Train was flagged of by Ms. Nusrat M. Mandrupkar, Public Relations Officer, Vijayawada Division, SCR; Smt. Sunaina, SM (On duty) and Sk. Najma, Pointswoman. 

The Crew on board of Krishna Express - Mrs. K Shanthi, Sr. ALP, Mrs. L. Radha, Guard, Smt. P. Syamala, Hd. Constable, RPF, Smt. S. Siva Kumari, Hd. Constable, RPF, Smt. Dhanakumari, Hd. Constable, RPF, Smt. K. Krishnaveni, CTI, Smt. Umamaheswari, TTI, Smt Aruna Kumari, TTI, Smt. S. Nagalaxmi, TTI, K. Chandu Radhika, TTI/Sleeper, D Susmitha, TTI/Sleeper, K.L. Prasanna, Sr TE/sleeper and Shri. G Srinaivas, LP, were the staff working. Shri Ch. Suresh, Station Director, Inspectors and staff were present.
