Newly Constructed Foot-Over-Bridge at Annavaram Railway Station Open for Public






The Newly Constructed Foot-Over-Bridge (FOB) with 6 Meter wide gangway at Annavaram Railway Station is made open to public today i.e., 12th March, 2020.  With this the long pending demand of public for a wider and bigger FOB at Annavaram has come to fruition. This FOB connects Platform no. 1, 2 & 3 from both east & West directions of Annavaram Railway station. Passengers alighting now at temple town can avail the services of FOB for reaching the Temple side circulating area in the west direction and for easily reaching the platforms from outside.  

The new FOB is constructed with a cost Rs.2.43 Crore on replacement account and was completed in 9 months, ahead of its target date completion on 31st March, 2020. The existing old FOB in use will be dismantled shortly.

Shri P. Srinivas, Divisional Railway Manager congratulated Smt. J. V. Anoosha, DEN, Bridges and team for commissioning the FOB and declaring it open for public ahead of target date.
