Operation of Barest Minimum Reservation Counters in view of Running of Special Trains

Ministry of Railways has planned for gradual resumption of Passenger train services and has announced 15 pairs of special train services across the country. Out of the announced trains, 3 pairs of train services viz., Secunderabad  NewDelhi  Secunderabad; KSR Bengaluru  New Delhi  KSR Bengaluru and MGR Chennai Central  New Delhi  MGR Chennai Central pass through SCR jurisdiction along with few stoppages provided within the zone. 
Tickets under General Quota should be booked online through IRCTC website only.
Apart from that, to cater to the passengers whose tickets can be issued through PRS counters only, Ministry of Railways has decided that barest minimum reservation (PRS) counters shall be opened at stations from where trains will originate/terminate or have stoppages enroute for booking of tickets pertaining to following categories only - 
High Official Requisition (HOR) holders Viz., Central Ministers, Government Whips, Supreme Court/High Court Judges etc.
Sitting as well as former Parliamentarians, Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of Legislative Council (MLCs)
Freedom Fighters
Fully reimbursable Railway Warrants/Vouchers etc
Passengers availing Concession as specified by Railway Board viz., four types of Divyangjan Passengers, Eleven types of Patients, Students etc.

Accordingly, PRS counters will be opened at 08.00 hrs from 12th May, 2020 at the following locations on SCR jurisdiction -  
One counter at Secunderabad PRS complex (with 2 shifts per day)
One counter at Warangal station (with 2 shifts per day)
One counter at Vijayawada Station (with 2 shifts per day)
One counter at Anantapur Station (with 2 shifts per day)
One Counter at Guntakal Station (with 2 shifts per day)

Opening of additional counters will be reviewed based on the prevailing circumstances. 
PRS tickets will be issued strictly to the above mentioned categories only and not for general public. 
Passengers travelling under General quota should utilise Online booking facility of e-tickets through IRCTC website and are requested not to come to PRS counters for purchasing tickets. All the preventive measures in the wake of COVID 19 like wearing of face masks, Physical distancing, Use of hand wash and sanitizers etc should be followed    scrupulously both by the railway staff as well as rail users.
