Shri Shivendra Mohan takes charge as Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada
Shri Shivendra Mohan, IRSME, has assumed charge as Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division on 10.08.2021. He belongs to 1989 batch of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME). Prior to the new assignment, he was serving as Executive Director Mechanical Engineering, EnHM & Projects, Railway Board.
Shri Shivendra Mohan holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The Engineering Council, London, UK; Metallurgical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering from Institution of Engineers (India). He also completed his MBA from IGNOU. He is also a trained auditor of ISO Quality Assurance, Environment Management and OHSAS Systems. He completed the course on ‘The Climate-Energy Challenge’ of HarvardX, an online initiative of Harvard University through edX. Shri Shivendra Mohan also currently holds the rank of Colonel in Indian Territorial Army.
Shri Shivendra Mohan, IRSME has vast experience of 30 years in Indian Railways. He joined Indian Railways as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer in the year 1991 and worked in various capacities in Divisions, Workshop & Production Units. He worked as CPRO, PIO, Dy. General Manager and Secretary to GM. During his stint as Chief Workshop Manager, Jhansi, he was Project in-charge for setting up a ‘Coach MLR (Mid-Life Rehabilitation) Workshop’ at Jhansi and also ‘Modernization of Jhansi Workshop’. For the last 6 years, he worked as Executive Director in newly created Environment & Housekeeping Management (EnHM) Directorate at Railway Board. During last 10 months at Railway Board, he also held the post of Executive Director, Mechanical Engineering (EDME)/Projects, coordinator of Plan Head 42 works.
Shri P. Srinivas, IRSE, currently serving the Vijayawada Division as Divisional Railway Manager relinquished the charge and is posted in cadre on South Central Railway.
