Shri Murali Krishna, OS, Engineering Branch got selected as Trainer for Indian Railway Kho-Kho Men’s Team

Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager congratulated Ms. Sowmiya Murugan, Junior Clerk, Engineering Department, Vijayawada Division for securing Silver medal in Hepathlon at Heptathlon at National Open Athletic Championship held at Warangal recently at DRM Office, Vijayawada. She has represented Indian Railways for Open National Athletic Championship held at Warangal from 15th to 19th Sept 2019.

She secured Silver Medal in Heptathlon (Seven events) i.e., (100mts Hurdles-15.05sec, High Jump-1.61mts, Shotput-12.01mts, 200mts-26.92Sec, Long Jump-5.32mts, Javelin-37.32mts & 800mts-2m32sec) by taking 4893 points altogether.

Shri M. Srikanth, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Operations and Shri Valleswara B Tokala, Divisional Sports Officer and Senior Divisional Security Commissioner also congratulated the Divisional athlete for her outstanding performance in at National Level Championship.

Shri Shivendra Mohan, DRM also congratulated Shri K Murali Krishna, Office Superintendent, Engineering Department for getting selected as Trainer for Indian Railway Kho-Kho Men's Team for coaching camp at Yelahankha, Karnataka, to train the Indian Railways' contingent for Senior National Kho-Kho Championship State to be held shortly.
