Vijayawada Division launches ‘Mission Karmayogi’
South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division launched ‘Mission Karmayogi’ across the Division for its Staff. Mission Karmayogi is a National Program for Civil Service Capacity Building initiated by Department of Personnel & Training which will help Government Employees to improve their skill set, approach, positive thinking and to address the changing needs and aspiration of the citizen. The Programme has been designed to enhance the civil services under a National Programme, and is one of the largest capacity building initiative which aims to transform approximately 1.5 Cr Government Officials across the Centre, States and local bodies.
Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division attended the training programme camp at Multi Disciplinary Divisional Training Institute (MDDTI), Krishna Canal and delivered the Guest lecture to the trainees on the occasion on 05th April, 2022. Addressing the trainees, Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division said that ‘Mission Karmayogi’ is an excellent platform which promotes technology driven learning pedagogy and it is a wonderful opportunity for staff to develop their core competencies and helps further in hassle free delivery of services to citizens with efficiency. Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division congratulated the Branch Officers for imparting the training sessions to the employees on large scale. Currently the Operating & Commercial Staff are undergoing this training programme in phases at MDDTI and ZRTI, Moula Ali, Secunderabad. Gradually, the training programme will be extended to the entire work force of the Division. The training module includes role play, group discussions, assignments and various other core activities.
The main objective of this mission is to bring Citizen Centricity through respectful interactions, develop problem solving competency, timely and effective delivery of public service along with transparency and accountability and to create policies conducive to economic growth. The Programme will be delivered by setting up an Integrated Government Online Training-(iGOT) Karmayogi Platform. iGOT-Karmayogi platform brings the scale and state-of-the-art infrastructure to augment the capacities of over two crore officials in India. The platform is expected to evolve into a vibrant and world-class market place for content where carefully curated and vetted digital e-learning material will be made available.

🚇 To encourage and partner with the best-in-class learning content creators including public training institutions, universities, start-tips and individual experts,
🚇 To undertake data analytics in respect of data emit provided by iGOT- Karmayogi pertaining to various aspects of capacity building, content creation, user feedback and mapping of competencies and identify areas for policy reforms.
