Shri M Prasanth, Divisional Staff wins Bronze Medal at National Handball Championship

Divisional Railway Employee, Shri M Prasanth, Track Maintainer, Bapatla secured Bronze Medal at Senior National Handball Championship held at Lucknow recently. Mr Prasanth represented Indian National Railway Handball team at the National Championship.  Our Divisional Staff Shri M.Sudhakar, Sr Goods Guard, Rajahmundry was the Coach for Indian Railway Handball. He had guided the team to secure third place at the Championships through disciplined and intense training sessions.

In the Semi-Finals, Indian Railway Handball team lost against Indian Services by a narrow margin of 02 points(25-27) and secured 3rd position (BRONZE MEDAL). Mr Prasanth played very well in all the League & Semi-Final matches. 

 Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager congratulated Mr. M.Prasanth and Mr. M.Sudhakar for securing third place at Senior National Handball Championship held at Lucknow. Shri D.Srinivasa Rao, ADRM, Infrastructure,  Shri M.Srikanth ADRM, Operations, Shri Valleswara.B Tokkala, Divisional Sports Officer & Senior Divisional Security Commissioner (RPF), Shri E.Santharam, Senior Divisional Engineer, Co-Ordnation and.    Shri  Narendra Varma, Senior Divisional Operations Manager also appreciated both the player and coach for their brilliant performance.
