Mega Cleanliness Drive conducted at Krishna Canal Station by Bharat Scouts & Guides, SCR

Bharat Scouts & Guides, South Central Railway conducted Mega Cleanliness Drive at  Krishna Canal Station today i.e., 20th November, 2022 . Around 160 Cub/Bulbuls, Scout/Guides, Rover/Ranger’s along with Scout Appointee/Employees of J P N Open Group, Vijayawada  took part in the full day Cleanliness Campaign.

Total 103 bags of large garbage, plastic waste and  around half track loose debris was collected by the Bharat Scouts & Guides during the Cleanliness campaign. Under the supervision of  Shri M. Gopala Krishna, Asst. District Commissioner & Sr. Passenger Train Manager, Students started the drive in the morning  and actively cleared the debris and garbage on tracks. Special Catering arrangements were made for the Scouts and Guides. The Cleanliness drive concluded at 17:00 hours.

Shri D. Srinivasa Rao, District Chief Commissioner, Scouts & Guides  & ADRM/Infrastructure complimented the efforts of Shri M. Gopala Krishna and students  for taking up the cleanliness campaign voluntarily. He said that Bharat Scouts & Guides  are always at the forefront in providing valuable services to the Nation and it citizens.
