Railway Hospital, Vijayawada organizes Blood Donation Camp

 Railway Hospital Vijayawada in association with Indian Red Cross Society organised a voluntary Blood Donation Camp today i.e., 20th February, 2024. 43 Employees of Vijayawada Division voluntary donated blood on the occasion. Majority of the Blood Donors were Assistant Loco Pilots of Vijayawada Division.

Dr. M. SowriBala, Cheif Medical Superintendent, Railway Hospital, Vijayawada presented certificates to donors and thanked them for their noble service to society. Dr. M. SowriBala said that Blood Donation is the ideal way of replenishing Blood and also aids in production of new red blood cells. CMS also appealed to the youth to take part in regular blood donation drives and become part of greater community service to the needy.

Dr. M. Jaideep, ACMS, Health and Family Welfare thanked the Indian Red Cross Society for collaborating with Railway Hospital, Vijayawada.
