This remarkable achievement is credited to the
persistent efforts of the Vijayawada Division Commercial Department’s Ticket
Checking Wing, which conducted multiple fortress checks, ambush
operations, and magisterial inspections to curb ticketless travel and
irregular ticket usage.
During the year, 9,76,584 cases
were detected, reflecting a 6.5% increase from the previous
year. The earnings of ₹62.05 crore comprise:

4,52,887 cases of traveling
without tickets, generating ₹37.17 crore
·
