Shri G. Rambabu Crowned Master Strong Man of India 2025 at National Powerlifting Championships

Central Railway is proud to announce that Shri G. Rambabu, serving at
Rajahmundry Engineering Department has secured 1st place at the prestigious
National Powerlifting Championships (RAW) 2025, held in Bangalore from 9th
to 12th October 2025, organised by the Karnataka State Powerlifting
Association.
Competing in the 74 body
weight category (68.5 kg), Shri Rambabu delivered a phenomenal performance,
earning the coveted title of Master Strong Man of India 2025. His winning lifts
included – Squat (165 kg), Bench Press (100 kg), Deadlift (202.5 kg) with a total
of 467.5 kg
This outstanding achievement
reflects not only his personal dedication and discipline but also brings
immense pride to the Vijayawada Division and the Indian Railways.
Senior officials including
Divisional Railway Manager Shri Mohit Sonakiya, Shri P E Edwin and Shri
Srinivas Rao Konda, Additional Divisional Railway Managers, and Shri Dinesh,
Senior Divisional Operations Manager (G) and Sports Officer, Vijayawada
Division extended their heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for Shri Rambabu’s
exceptional accomplishment.
