ADRM inspects Catering Stalls at Vijayawada Railway Station towards providing excellent passenger facilities

Shri M. V. S. Ramaraju, Addl. Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure) inspected newly opened Comesum (24/7) Food Track @IRCTC Food Plaza (near East Entrance) at Vijayawada Railway Station on 7th February, 2019.

In continuation to provide excellent passenger facilities, IRCTC commenced the operations of a New food Plaza at Vijayawada Railway station with unending support from the Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway. The Food Plaza will be operated through Licensee model by M/S R K Associates & Hoteliers Pvt ltd which is based at New Delhi.
The Food Plaza is setup in total area of approx. 1450 sqft, having 2 floors with seating capacity of 68 nos. which will be accessible to the train passengers and other gentry of the city. The food Plaza will serve variety of delicious food from North India, Andhra and Oriental cuisine and will have A/C & Non- A/C seating areas and also will be open to public round-the-clock.

Shri M.V. Ramaraju, ADRM, Vijayawada inspected the quality of the food in kitchen and maintenance. ADRM also instructed the management to give top priority to hygiene, hospitality, quality and maintaining standards.

Shri P. Bhaskar Reddy, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, , Shri Md. Yacoob, Chief Catering Inspector, Shri. V. Rajasekhar, Chief Commercial Inspector Vijayawada station also accompanied.
