Seminar on 'Action Plan for Passenger Friendly Stations' conducted

Shri K. V. Rao, Chief Commercial Manager/ Catering & Passenger Services and Chief Safety Officer (Additional Charge) conducted seminar on “Action Plan for Passenger Friendly Stations” on 11th July, 2019 at Divisional Conference Hall, Vijayawada.

Shri K. V. Rao gave a power point presentation on the passenger friendly measures and interacted with TTEs ,Booking Clerks and frontline staff during the seminar. He advised the staff to be courteous & polite towards the travelling public and help them in every possible way and develop the image of Indian Railways. He devised an action plan for providing better amenities at TTEs’ Rest house, Vijayawada and addressed the grievances of the staff during the seminar.

Earlier, he conducted safety seminar along with Operating, Safety, Signal & Telecommunications branch officers, reviewed the safety aspects and stressed upon the need to be alert and prompt while on duty.

Later,  Shri K. V.  Rao inspected Level Crossing gates, Accident Relief Train, Route Relay Interlocking systems, Vijayawada Railway station, TTEs rest house and instructed the concerned staff to improve the cleanliness & amenities at TTEs’ rest house, Vijayawada 

Shri K. V. Rao also participated in the tree plantation drive as a part of Go-Green initiative at Parcel Office, Vijayawada (south- side) along with Branch officers and advised the staff to improve the green cover at Vijayawada Railway station.

Smt. G. Sumana, ADRM (Operations), Shri N. Rajendra Kumar, Sr. Divisional Safety Officer; Shri K. Rajendra Prasad, Divisional Commercial Managaer & In-charge PRO, Shri K. Kamalakar Babu, ACM; Shri. CH. Suresh, Station Director, inspectors and other staff were present.
