Temporary Increase in Platform Ticket Rate at Vijayawada, Nellore and Rajahmundry Railway Stations to Regulate Non Travelling Public in Dussehra Festival Season.

In view of the ensuing Dussera festival season, it is anticipated that there will be huge crowd of rail travelers as well as accompanying non-travelers at Vijayawada, Nellore and Rajahmundry Railway Stations.

In order to regulate the flow of people who enter the platforms and avoid inconvenience to the travelling public by means of ensuring decongestion of platforms, the rate of Platform Ticket at Vijayawada, Nellore and Rajahmundry Railway Stations will be enhanced from present Rs.10 to Rs.30 for a period of twelve days from 29th September to 10th October, 2019 (Both days inclusive).
