Vijayawada Division initiates Covid-19 Vaccination at Railway Hospital

South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division initiated Covid-19 Vaccination at Railway Hospital, Vijayawada on 30th January, 2021. Shri Shri A. Md. Imtiaz I.A.S, Collector and District Magistrate, Krishna graced the occasion as Chief Guest and inaugurated the Vaccination at Railway Hospital.

Dr. V. Satyanarayana, CMS, Dr. Md Nazeer Hussain, In-charge CMS, Dr. Sowribala, ACMS and other medical staff from Railway Hospital, Rayanapadu Railway Hospital & Satyanarayana Puram Health Unit took Covishield Vaccination in the presence of Shri Shri A. Md. Imtiaz I.A.S, Collector and District Magistrate, Krishna and Shri D. Srinivas, Addl. Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri A. Md. Imtiaz I.A.S, Collector appreciated the efforts from the Railway administration in rendering extraordinary services during lockdown. He also appreciated the commitment from the Medical, Health workers and frontline Staff at Vijayawada Railway Station.

Shri D. Srinivas, Addl. Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada said that the vaccination will be done in a phased manner and as a part of Phase-I, Vaccination is given to Medical Staff of Railway Hospital at Vijayawada.
