Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR meets Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh State and conducts Inspection of ETTC and MDDTI, Krishna Canal Jn.

Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway during his visit to Vijayawada Division called on Shri C.S. Adityanath Das, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh at AP Secretariat, Velagapudi, Amaravati on 22nd September, 2021. Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division accompanied the General Manager.

Shri Gajanan Mallya comprehensively discussed on the progress of various Railway projects in SCR’s Jurisdiction of Andhra Pradesh State during the meeting with Chief Secretary, Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier during the day, the General Manager inspected Electric Traction Training Centre, Satyanarayanapuram, Vijayawada where he interacted with Trainee Loco Pilots and Staff. Shri Gajanan Mallya planted a sapling towards green environment. He inspected the working of Three phase In -Motion Loco Simulator (WAP-7 & WAP-9) at the training Centre. Later, Shri Gajanan Mallya, GM, SCR conducted extensive inspection of Multi-Disciplinary Divisional Training Institute (MDDTI), Kishna Canal Junction (KCC.). He inspected the works in progress for new trainee’s hostel constructed at MDDTI.  He also inspected the gang tool room and interacted with the staff.

The General Manger reviewed the achievements and Performance of Vijayawada Division and the progress of works with the Divisional Officers. He stressed on safety and punctuality of rail services as foremost. General Manager also advised the Branch officers to expedite the pending passenger and staff amenities works within stipulated time.
