Divisional Athlete Sunendu Roy selected for Indian Railway Archery Team, to participate at Senior National Archery Championship, Tata Nagar

Divisional Athlete Shri Sunendu Roy, Helper, Signal & Tele Communication (Wireless) Dept., Vijayawada Division has been selected for the Indian Railway Archery team (Compound category) to participate in the 40th NTPC Senior (Men & Women) National (Compound & Recurve) Archery Championship at Tata Nagar (Jamshedpur), Jharkhand scheduled from 4th to 6th October, 2021.

 

Earlier, he attended selection trails for Indian Railway Archery team at Eastern Railway, Kolkata on 16th September, 2021 and successfully got selected to the Indian Railway Archery team. Currently, He is under training at the Indian Railway Archery Team, Coaching camp being held at CLW, Chittarajan.

 

Besides, Shri J.Rama Rao, Junior Engineer, Engineering (Track Machines) Department, Rayanapadu has been selected as Coach for Indian Railway Archery (Compound) team from Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway he is giving intensive training to the Archers at Chittarajan.

 

Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, Shri D Srinivasa Rao, ADRM, Infrastructure, Shri M Srikanth, ADRM, Operations, Shri Valleswara.B Tokala, Divisional Sports officer and Sr. DSC congratulated both the athletes and wished them good luck for the National Level competition.
