Railway Employee bags runners up place in All India Seniors Open Tennis Tournament -2021

Shri K. Sampath Kumar, Technician, Electrical Maintenance, Vijayawada bagged runners up in the All India Open Seniors  Tennis Tournament on 1st November, 2021 at Indira Gandhi Muncipal Stadium, Vijayawada. The competition was held in an open Senior category  with all the participants above the age group of 35 years.

Shri K Sampath Kumar reached the final of the open competition by defeating 4 opponents in the Prelims stage of same age category.  In the final he lost to Dr. Patnaik from Orissa. Shri Radhakrishna, All India Tennis Association, Secretary presented mementos to both the winners and runners up players.

Shri Valleswara Babji T, Divisional Sports Officer, Vijayawada congratulated the runners up Shri K Sampath Kumar for bagging the 2nd place in open tournament.
