Vijayawada Division conducts Integrity Walkathon on Vigilance Awareness

Webinar conducted on Vigilance Awareness

South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division organised Integrity Walkathon s a part of Vigilance Awareness Campaign today at Vijayawada Railway Station on 29^th October, 2021. The rally began from East Main entrance of Vijayawada Railway Station, Platform No. 1   to Jack & Jill School, Vijayawada. The objective of this Integrity walkathon is to promote integrity and probity in public life, generate public awareness and publicize the adverse impact of corruption.

Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager Vijayawada, Shri D. Srinivasa Rao, ADRM, Infrastructure and Shri M. Srikanth, ADRM, Operations participated in the walkathon to spread awareness on importance of integrity. Branch Officers, RPF Staff and Inspectors took part and campaigned on platform no.1 holding the placards with message of Self Reliance with Integrity. South Central Railway Vijayawada Division is observing Vigilance Awareness week from 26^th October to 1^st November, 2021. The theme for the current year’s Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) is “Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity.

Earlier, a Webinar on Vigilance Awareness was conducted by SCR Zone presided by Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR. DRMs, PHODs, ADRMs, CWMs and Branch Officers and staff of all the Six Divisions participated in the webinar through video conference. Prof. Mallesh Sankasala, Vice Chancellor, Satavahana University and Prof. K Nageshwar, Dept. Of Communication and Journalism, Osmania University participated in the Webinar as Guest Speakers. Both the Guest Speakers gave their insights on topics of Integrity, ethics and eradication of corruption. Shri Gajanan Mallya released the Vigilance Bulletin “Animisha” and thanked the distinguished speakers for their valuable address.
