DRM Cup - Republic Day Tennis Tournament held

South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division conducted DRM Cup - Republic Day Tennis tournament at Railway Stadium, Vijayawada from 22nd to 23rd January, 2022. As a part of 73rd Republic Day Celebrations, Men’s Doubles, Ladies Singles and Mixed Doubles tennis events were conducted. Total 5 teams participated for the Men Doubles event in league style fashion. Total 10 matches were played and Shri K Rajendra Prasad, Divisional Commercial Manager, Vijayawada, Shri S S Reddy, Retd. TTI, Vijayawada were the winners of the Men’s Double event. Dr. K. Prabhavati, Physiotherapist emerged victorious in the ladies singles event in a knock out match.

Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager; Shri D. Srinivasa Rao, ADRM, Infrastructure; Shri M. Srikanth, ADRM, Operations and Shri Valleswara Babji Thokala, Sr. DSC & Divisional Sports Officer congratulated the winners and runners up players. The winners will be awarded on the ensuing Republic day event.
