Shri Rajiv Kishore Principal Chief Personnel Officer, South Central Railway inspects Vijayawada Railway Station and ETTC










Shri Rajiv Kishore, Principal Chief Personnel Officer (PCPO), South Central Railway undertook Inspection of Vijayawada Railway Station and Electric Traction Training Centre, (ETTC) Vijayawada today, i.e., on 9th April, 2022. He was accompanied by Shri D. Srinivas Rao, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure) and Shri M.B. Muralidhar Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Vijayawada Division throughout the inspection. 

Initially, Shri Rajiv Kishore, PCPO, SCR inspection of Vijayawada Railway Station and interacted with the Staff and Officials of SMR Office and verified the records and registers. He also inquired with the staff about the working facilities and mentioned that the administration extends support to the Staff and is committed in providing an open channel of communication through various online portals and apps such as HRMS. He urged the staff and officials to make use of the new apps being developed by the Personnel Department of Vijayawada Division to further the cause of transparent governance in the dealings with working as well as retired staff.  

During the course of the inspection, Shri Rajiv Kishore, PCPO inaugurated free water service camp at Vijayawada Railway Station during the summer, being handled and maintained by Scouts and Guides of the Division. He appreciated the Scouts & Guides for taking up such an initiative to help the rail users. There are two water pots of 200 liters each that will help quench the thirst of passengers in the blazing summer heat of the region. He also inaugurated bird feeder making competition organized by Scouts & Guides on the occasion and praised the children for thinking about our feathered friends too.

At Vijayawada Station, Shri Rajiv Kishore, PCPO met the representatives of SCRMU, SCRES & SCSTREA of Vijayawada Division. They placed forward their problems and also submitted him a memorandum. He assured that all their grievances will be addressed in a time bound manner.

Later, during the inspection of Electric Traction Training Centre situated at Satyanarayanapuram. He said that ETTC is an exemplary institute and was appreciative of the training provided. He personally interacted with all trainees who have come from across the Division and enquired about the training facilities & boarding facilities and stimulator equipment at ETTC.

Shri Ch. Suresh Babu, Station Director, Vijayawada Railway Station; Shri S S V Prasad, Principal, ETTC; Shri K. Srinivas Rao, Sr.DEE (Op); Shri Shahabaaz, Shri Srinivas Rao, Shri Saila Sudhakar, Shri Manikya Rao – Asst. Personnel Officers, Vijayawada Division and Welfare Inspectors were present during the Inspection.
