Ms. Priti Lamba, Divisional Athlete wins 2 Gold Medals at World Railway Games held at Berlin, Germany

Divisional Athlete, Ms Priti Lamba, Junior Clerk, Engineering Department, Vijayawada Division  won Two Gold  Medals in 10KM Cross country Individual & Team event at the World Railway Games (Athletic) held at Berlin, Germany on 18th July, 2022.  Ms Priti Lamba, represented National Indian Railway Athletic(Cross country) Team and participated in 10KM Cross country event individually and as a team member at the World Railway Games.  

Ms. Priti Lamba initially got selected in the National trials for Indian Railway Athletic Team and underwent rigorous training at Sports Camp, Patiala to aim for the medal at World Railway Games. Previously, Ms. Priti Lamba also won BRONZE MEDAL in 5000 Meter running race in the South Asian Games-2019, held at Nepal.

Santharam, Sr. DEN, Co-Ordination congratulated Ms Priti for her incredible performance at the international stage and for bringing laurels to the Division.
