Personnel Department launches online Web portal for Pensioner ID Cards

Now Pensioners can download their ID cards through online, just by registering web portal by furnishing the required information.

AS part of IT initiatives, 18 HRMS camps were conducted by Personnel department  in the current year to bring awareness among pensioners for obtaining E-  Complimentary  travel Passes  through HRMS portal

Personnel Department of Vijayawada Division recently launched a web Portal for issuing Pensioner ID cards through online. Keeping in view of difficulties facing to approach Divisional Office for obtaining Pensioner Identity Cards under railway Services rules, 1993, Vijayawada Division is the first Division to design and introduce the system of issuing Online ID Cards through Web Portal. The web Portal was recently launched by Shri Rajeev Kishore, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, SCR in the presence of Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division.

Pensioners need to first register in the above portal duly furnishing the particulars of PPO no and registered Mobile number. After registering and creating an account, pensioners need to login and furnish the required details like age, Date of appointment etc and also upload their photo and copy of PPO in the above portal. Once the details are submitted, it will be verified by the competent authority and will be approved for issue of ID cards, if the details are found correct and satisfactory. The same shall communicated through text message to the applicant (Pensioner).  The pensioner can download the card through online after approval just by logging in again.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri M.B. Muralidhar, IRPS, Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer said that, this initiative will immensely help the pensioners residing far away from Vijayawada and save their valuable time and commute to Divisional Office. He appealed to the pensioners to avail this opportunity to easily obtain ID cards without any hassles. Shri M.B. Muralidhar, IRPS said that as part of 18 HRMS camps were conducted across the Division, to bring awareness among pensioners for obtaining Post retirement E- Complimentary travel passes. ‘So far 790 E-  complimentary travel passes have been issued to pensioners by enrolling and registering through HRMS camps at various important stations of Division’, he added. He said that Personnel branch is committed to the service of its Railway family and leveraging IT to ease the daily working and reduce waiting time for the benefit of employees and pensioners.

Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division congratulated the Personnel Branch for launching the online services to benefit Pensioners and family members. DRM said that Division has around 20,000 pensioners and this web portal service will be beneficial to all of them by just furnishing the required details from their respective homes through online. He also lauded the efforts of personnel branch   and staff for conducting HRMs awareness camps to bring awareness among pensioners for obtaining E- Complimentary travel passes. DRM said that Division is making full efforts and always focused on addressing the grievances and improving the service delivery mechanism for its  pensioners.
