Shri Dr L Murugan, Hon'ble Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying Hands over Appointment Letters to New Recruits Of Central Government Under “Rozgar Mela”

A total of 194 new recruits received their appointment letter during the event













South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division Rozgar Mela- Mega Job Fair today i.e. 22nd October 2022 at Divisional Railway Auditorium, Vijayawada. Shri Dr L Murugan, Hon'ble Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of India graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri Shivendra Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, SCR, and other senior officials from different Central Government Ministries also participated in the program. Rozgar Mela was launched Govt. of India with a commitment to provide continuous job opportunities for the youth and also to ensure the welfare of the citizens of the country.

At the outset, Shri Shivendra Mohan, DRM invited the Chief Guest Shri Dr L Murugan, Hon'ble Minister of State to the dais and inaugurated the Rozgar Mela by lighting the lamp and with a prayer song. All the Dignitaries, Appointees and Staff witnessed the launch of Rozgar Mela by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister through video conferencing

At New Delhi, Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister launched the Rozgar Mela – a recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel at the National level. The Hon’ble Prime Minister congratulated the new appointees. He stated that the youth play an essential role in Nation building and encouraged the new recruits to put in their best efforts and perform their duties sincerely and with utmost dedication towards building ‘New India’

Speaking on occasion, Dr L Murugan, Hon'ble Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying congratulated the newly selected recruits of the Central Government and wished them the best for the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. He said that in the 76th year of Independence, 75000 new recruits are being recruited, which is a beacon of youth empowerment in India. He expressed his immense happiness, and joy and thanked the Hon’ble Prime Minister for steering forward the Nation with great momentum towards great Pride and Glory. Dr L Murugan stated that India is making giant strides towards Digitalisation, Self Reliance, through policies like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, E-Governance and emerging as a Global Power. ‘Railways has undergone a massive transformation with the introduction of Vande Bharat trains, upgradation of Station on par with airports, modernization of coaches, bio-toilets and providing service across the length and breadth of the Nation with utmost dedication, he added. He appealed to the appointees that the following 25 years as very crucial, termed it “Amrit Kaal” and advised the appointees to strive hard with determination to make India self-sustainable and self-reliant in all forms. He suggested the youth ensure service delivery to all the citizens through good and transparent governance under the stewardship of visionary leader Shri Narendra Modi. Later, Dr L Murugan presented appointment letters to the new recruits of various Central Government departments and interacted with Print/Electronic Media.

In his welcome address, Shivendra Mohan, DRM stated that is Vijayawada Division is fortunate to host such a momentous event. He congratulated the appointees for clearing the recruitment test with hard work and determination. He said that 194 new recruits belonging to various departments will be presented with Appointment letters. DRM stated that Rozgar Mela will usher in an era of prosperity and development and hope for a bright future for the youth. He lauded the vision of Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister for launching the job fair before Diwali- the festival of lights and celebration.
