Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, Divisional Railway Manager inspects Vijayawada Railway Station

Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, SCR conducted an extensive inspection of Vijayawada Station today i.e., 21st July, 2023. He commenced his inspection from East Main Entrance. He inspected the circulating area, toilets, cloak rooms, drinking water troughs, and seating arrangements at Bapu and Mahatma Gandhi Waiting Halls on Platform No.1. The DRM checked bio-toilets and cleanliness in Coaches of Train No.12795 Vijayawada – Lingampalli. He suggested the Mechanical Department officials to undertake through rake check at Depots during maintenance to avoid passenger complaints while the train is on run. Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil also instructed the officials to arrest the leakages on platforms and undertake monsoon safety measures to avoid any inconvenience to rail passengers.

Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, DRM also inspected Comesum Kitchen, South FOB, Retiring Rooms at Platform No.6. He advised the officials to spruce up the cleaning activity and ambience at Station to enhance the passenger experience and feel. DRM also instructed the officials to ensure proper working of all passenger amenities like lifts, escalator & TV displays.
