Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, DRM inspects Gudur, Manubolu and Nellore Railway Stations

 

DRM reviewed Adani Krishnapatnam Port Performance

Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, IRTS, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, SCR conducted extensive inspection of Gudur, Manubolu & Nellore Railway Stations on 26th July, 2023.

Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil commenced his inspection from Gudur Railway Station. He inspected  Circulatting area, Passenger Amenities, Toilets, drinking water troughs and seating arrangements at Waiting Hall on platform no.1. DRM also instructed the officials to ensure proper working of all Passenger Amenities like lifts, escalator & TV displays. After completing Gudur  Station inspection,  DRM & team of Officers proceeded to Manubolu Station by road and inspected the yard remodelling and platform works.

In the afternoon, Shri Narendra A Patil and Officers proceeded to Krishnapatnam Station by Special train. DRM inspected Staff Running room and SM Office at Krishnapatnam Station. As part of green initiative, DRM & Team took part in the planation drive at Krishnapatnam Station. Later, DRM inspected Adani Krishnapatnam port coal yard, silos loading and reviewed the port performance with Port officials. Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil instructed the staff to strictly adhere to prescribed safety measures while loading of wagons. DRM advised the staff to always keep watchful eyes on over loading and uneven loading in the wagons to ensure safety in train operation

In the evening, DRM inspected Nellore Station. DRM inspected Passenger amenities and reviewed the progress of Nellore Station Redevelopment Works. DRM also interacted with Supervisiors and Inspectors of Nellore  station and advised them to give top priority to Safety, security and cleanliness aspects of the Station. Later, DRM & officials proceeded back to Vijayawada and conducted rear window  inspection between Nellore and Vijayawada
