Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, Divisional Railway Manager reviews Monsoon Safety Preparedness across Vijayawada Division

DRM interacted with Inspectors and  Supervisors of Engineering Branch through video conference

Shri Narendra Anandrao Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, SCR conducted review meeting on Monsoon Safety measures under taken across the Division today i.e., 25th July, 2023 at Divisional Conference Hall, Vijayawada. Shri D. Srinivasa Rao, ADRM, Infrastructure and Engineering Branch officials took part in the review meeting.

During the review meeting, Shri Narendra Patil, DRM interacted with SSEs P.Way Inspectors, Bridge Inspectors of Engineering Department of Vijayawada Division through video conference. 

The DRM instructed the officials to implement monsoon safety precautions in full capacity with thorough monitoring across the length of Division. DRM stressed on surveillance of high banks and bad soil formation areas with rampant erosions to prevent any  undulations. 

Shri Narendra Patil insisted on scaling up USFD testing for easy identification of track defects  and ensuring   joint inspection of points and crossings. DRM suggested the officials to improve punctuality performance along with proper implementation of Rolling corridor without any block bursts. He stressed that safety precautions undertaken should be  monitored continuously and  termed that 'safety in train operations' as the top most priority.
