Railway Para-Athlete Shines at State Championships

 

Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Shri K. Lavaiah, who has brought laurels to the organisation by winning two Bronze Medals at the 7th Andhra Pradesh State Para Swimming Championships held at Eluru on 12th October 2025.

Displaying exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship, Shri Lavaiah clinched bronze medals in the 50 Meters Backstroke and 50 Meters Freestyle events. His outstanding performance is a shining example of perseverance and dedication, reflecting how commitment to professional responsibilities can go hand in hand with the pursuit of sporting excellence.

Shri K. Lavaiah from Commercial Department working as Parcel Supervisor in Tenali called on Shri Mohit Sonakiya, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division. The Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, along with the entire railway fraternity, congratulated Shri Lavaiah on his commendable accomplishment and conveyed best wishes for his forthcoming participation at the national level.
