Divisional Official Language Implementation Committee Meeting held

168th Divisional Official Language Implementation Committee meeting of South Central Railway – Vijayawada Division held in DRM Conference hall, Vijayawada on 27th June, 2019 under the chairmanship of Shri M.V.S. Rama Raju, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure) and in presence of Smt. G. Sumana, Addl. Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations). 

Addressing the committee members, Shri M.V.S. Rama Raju emphasized on special attention towards achieving the targets laid down by the Railway Board in implementing Rajbhasha. He also instructed branch officers and staff to meet the targets prescribed by the board under ‘Official Language Act’. 

Shri Asha Mahesh Kumar, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Vijayawada, welcomed all the members to DOLIC meeting and highlighted the progress of implementation of official language in the division through PPT Presentation. Hindi workshops, Seminars which were conducted and table training imparted to the employees working across the Vijayawada Division were detailed. Dr. V.B. Manoj, ACMS gave a detailed presentation on Healthy diet and fitness. 

Smt. G. Sumana, Addl. Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari and ADRM (Operations) in her key note to the committee said that it is our constitutional duty to adhere all the directives issued by the railway board. She instructed staff to update data in official language in SCR’s divisional website.
