Town Official Language Implementation Committee Meeting Held

59th Vijayawada Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) Meeting held in conference hall, Divisional Office, Vijayawada on 29th August, 2019. Shri P. Srinivas, Divisional Railway Manager graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Shri Asha Mahesh Kumar, Secretary & Rajbhasha Adhikari, South Central Railway, Vijayawada welcomed the Directors and Officials from various government offices. Shri Asha Mahesh, RBA emphasized on implementation of official language (Hindi). He insisted to achieve the targets fixed by the Ministry of Home Affairs in connection with Rajbhasha implementation and Hindi training. He also explained about the “procedure for uploading of quarterly report online” through power point presentation.

Shri P. Srinivas, DRM unveiled official book on “Rajbhasha Question Bank on Official Language Policy and Rules” published by Rajbhasha Section of DRM’s Office, South Central Railway. Speaking on the occasion, Sri P. Srinivas, DRM advised to follow the easy methods to achieve the targets fixed by the Ministry of Home Affairs with the help of new technologies available.  He also insisted the usage of bilingual templates on computer by using UNICODE. DRM opined that TOLIC is such platform where all the Central Government offices and undertaking could get together and share their views.

Addressing the meeting, Smt. G. Sumana, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) insisted upon the importance of Implementation of Official Language for National Integration.  She reiterated the responsibility of all the Central Government Offices to implement Hindi in the day-to-day Official Work.
