Shri M. Srikanth, IRSME takes charge as Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Operations, Vijayawada Division

 

Shri M. Srikanth assumed charge as ADRM (Operations), Vijayawada today i.e. 18th January, 2021. He belongs to 1998 batch of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME). Prior to the new assignment he was serving as Chief Rolling Stock Engineer, South East Central Railway.

Shri M. Srikanth has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad and completed his Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Madras in the year 1995.

He started his career in Indian Railways as Asst. Divisional Mechanical Engineer at Guntakal and worked as Sr.Divisional Safety Officer, & Sr. Divisional environmental & House Keeping Manager at Vijayawada. He also worked as Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, Rayanapadu Work Shop.

He played a vital role in achieving IGBS Gold rating & ISO 5 ‘S’ Workplace Management certifications for Rayanapadu workshop during his tenure. He has also won Railway Board individual award for his best performance in the year 2010. He has attended professional training on Diesel Loco Maintenance and Safety Enhancement of Rolling Stock at USA & Japan respectively. He has also done his Advance Management Training at INSEAD/ Singapore and ICLIF/Malaysia.

Shri G Sumana, IRSME currently serving the Division as ADRM (Operations) relinquished the charge and has been posted in the SCR Zone.
