Vijayawada Division observes Mahaparinirwan Diwas

 

 

 

 

South Central Railway-Vijayawada Division observed Mahaparinirwan Diwas of Bharat Ratna, Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, today i.e., 7th December, 2020 at Divisional Office Compund, Vijayawada. Shri P. Srinivas, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division paid floral tributes to the portrait of Baba Saheb Ambedkar to mark his death anniversary and lighted the lamp. Smt G. Sumana ADRM/Operations, Shri D. Srinivasa Rao, ADRM/Infrastructure, Shri G.R. Sudheer Kumar, Sr. DPO, Branch Officers and staff also paid floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. 

In view of the precautions to be observed due to COVID-19, all the participants strictly observed the precautionary measures like wearing the masks, maintaining physical distance etc to contain the spread of CORONA virus.
