SCRWWO, Vijayawada conducts Dehydration Campaign Distributes Water & Butter Milk to Rail passengers at Vijayawada Station

 

South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization, Vijayawada voluntarily distributed Butter Milk to on board passengers at Vijayawada Railway Station. To beat the scorching heat SCRWWO Team led by, Dr. Jaya Mohan, President, SCRWWO, Vijayawada along with Bharat Scouts & Guides distributed Butter Milk Packets to around 1500 passengers today at Vijayawada Railway Station

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jaya Mohan, President, SCRWWO, Vijayawada said that the distribution was taken up exclusively to quench the thirst of Railway passengers. Dr. Jaya Mohan stated that SCRWWO is always at the forefront in supporting and spearheading Social and welfare activities. She appealed to the Railway Staff to get hydrated at regular intervals, wear caps and other protective gear to prevent sun strokes as the temperatures are soaring high this year. She also said that SCRWWO is planning to take up more such activities in coming days to bring awareness campaign like planting trees and preparedness among passengers during journeys in hot summer. She thanked the Scouts & Guides, Operating and Ticket Checking Staff for helping with arrangements and smooth execution of distribution process
