Shri K. Raveen Kumar Reddy, PCCM, SCR inspects Adani Krishnapatnam Port and BPCL Gati Shakti Terminal
Shri K. Raveen Kumar Reddy, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, South Central Railway inspected Adani Krishnapatnam Port Private Siding Ltd., and BPCL Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal and reviewed its performances on 3rd May, 2023.
Shri K. Raveen Kumar Reddy, PCCM, SCR commenced the inspection at Adani Krishnapatnam Port and commended the support of Adani Krishnapatnam Management in achieving highest ever Coal Loading in the FY 2022-23. PCCM reviewed the performance of current financial year 2023-2024 and also discussed the loading projections and freight revenue estimates in the forthcoming quarters. He suggested the Railway Officials and Port Authorities to continue the same momentum to achieve new heights in loading and revenue performance. PCCM also visited the loading point and inspected the weigh bridge, in silos loading, pre-weigh bins and tarpaulin packing procedure at the loading points. He assured full scale support and cooperation from railway administration to meet the current demand, loading targets and advised them to follow the safety aspects in train operation without any deviations.
Later, K. Raveen Kumar Reddy, inspected newly commissioned BPCL Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal and discussed the loading projections of POL (Petroleum & Oil Lubricants) in the current year with the Officials of BPCL. He along with railway officials took part in Plantation drive at BPCL GCT. PCCM also inspected the loading points, infrastructure development works, safety works undertaken by the Port Officials.
Later K. Raveen Kumar Reddy along with team of Officers proceeded to Nellore Station by Road. At Nellore Station, PCCM inspected the Passenger amenities on all the platforms. He also discussed regarding the progress of Nellore Station Redevelopment works and advised them to expedite the redevelopment works within the target dates.
Shri V. Rambabu, Sr. DCM, Shri V. Ravi Varma, ACM; Shri Tejas, AO, Krishnapatnam; Inspectors and staff took part in the inspection today.
