Vijayawada Division, SCR celebrates Energy Conservation Week (14th to 21st December )

 

Pledge administered to Staff

Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway is observing Energy Conservation Week from 14^th to 21^st December, 2023 this year. The Theme for this year campaign is “One Earth, One Family, One Future”.

As part of this Energy Conservation Week, Shri Narendra A Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway administered Pledge to Officials and Staff today i.e., 18^th December, 2023 at Divisional Office Compound. Officers and Staff took the resolve to avoid unproductive and wasteful use of energy in all spheres of activities thereby contributing towards energy conservation.

 Shri Narendra A Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, appealed to the staff to adopt energy efficient practices in all spheres of activities that maximize performance while minimizing energy consumption thus moving towards building a more sustainable future. He also congratulated the staff of Vijayawada Division on receiving First prize in National Energy Conservation Awards - 2023 in Railway Workshops Sector from Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu on 14th December, 2023 on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day 2023.

Shri D. Srinivasa Rao, ADRM, Infrastructure, Shri M. Srikanth, ADRM, Operations, staff and Railway Scouts and Guides of Vijayawada Division took part in the pledge event.
